While the home inspector does a thorough job with items such as the structure, the appliances, decks, windows, etc., it requires a heating and cooling contractor to perform a comprehensive inspection of the heating and cooling system.

Berg's will check for carbon monoxide leaks, gas leaks, the condition and age of the furnace heat exchanger, blower motor, motor starters, compressors, controls, wiring, duct work, venting, and overall operation of the equipment.
